DESIGNER - Diane Von Furstenberg

No other designer has managed to design a collection of dresses this season which tick all the trend boxes. Diane Von Furstenberg's collection is vibrant, ethnic and exciting to say the least. Maui styles and floral and tribal prints make for the perfect frocks to be seen in as the weather warms up. Ideal if you have a swanky wedding to attend. See my favourites below.

All the above dresses and the rest of the DVF collection can be seen at Matches Fashion.

TRENDS - Fluoro Florals

Have you noticed the recent colour explosion! Big, bold floral prints are back. Because this look is such a statement, it really needs nothing else. Keep accessories to a minimum and go for plain a shoe and bag. Colleen McLoughlin was spotted at the Races this week wearing her floral mini dress, a great trend for the coming months. So get brave and inspired by my picks below...

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK - Cath Kidston

Cath Kidston Ltd.

With ditsy print tea dresses being a huge spring trend, it only seems right to spread the florals to other parts of your home and wardrobe. Cath Kidston prints are ultra cool whilst having that retro feel too. Plus, check out the sale items as we all could do with a good bargain. I love the umbrellas and kitchen accessories especially in the new star print, which is particularly on trend.

TRENDS - Sheer Delight

The next big trends for spring are barely there nudes and light, sheer fabrics. Anything delicate and romantic in neutral shades is great for this look. The jewel colours and heavy metallics of winter will become much softer for spring. While the weather is still wintery, use layering to finish the look with opaque tights or vests to keep covered up.

I love sheer, puff sleeved blouses, layers and ruffles in chiffon fabric all of which are great mixed with some delicate florals. To follow the trend without denting the bank balance too much opt for sheer scarves or wraps and check out Primark for a great selection of tops in this trend at under £10.00 each.
