DESIGNER - Diane Von Furstenberg

No other designer has managed to design a collection of dresses this season which tick all the trend boxes. Diane Von Furstenberg's collection is vibrant, ethnic and exciting to say the least. Maui styles and floral and tribal prints make for the perfect frocks to be seen in as the weather warms up. Ideal if you have a swanky wedding to attend. See my favourites below.

All the above dresses and the rest of the DVF collection can be seen at Matches Fashion.

TRENDS - Fluoro Florals

Have you noticed the recent colour explosion! Big, bold floral prints are back. Because this look is such a statement, it really needs nothing else. Keep accessories to a minimum and go for plain a shoe and bag. Colleen McLoughlin was spotted at the Races this week wearing her floral mini dress, a great trend for the coming months. So get brave and inspired by my picks below...

TRENDS - Bright Eyes

Make-up goes from boring to daring with the latest trend for colourful cosmetics. Eyes are the focal point of the look with candy colours being the best option. Lips are not left out completely, try an orange toned lipstick or bright fuscia. I think its best to keep to eyes or lips rather than both at once though, lets not get too scary. Be bold and get inspiration below...

Blue, green and yellow make for a tropical eye.

Or how about a whole rainbow above your eyelashes?

TRENDS - Art Class

Various versions of this trend have been cropping up all over celebdom. From watercolour pastels to brushstroke prints, to full on colour explosions. The key for this look is to be brave. Working the look in a boldly patterned dress is the best way to wear but for it to work, you should keep everything else simple. It's time for a fun look and a chance to experiment with unusual abstract patterns. The latest ombre and dip dyed items also fit in perfectly. Try these for size...

STYLE AWARD - Rihanna

Rihanna is young, modern and fashionable. She consistently gets her make up spot on and it is not by playing safe. She tries lots of different looks, and often quite wild colours. She does have a perfect skin tone to carry it off and others would struggle to copy the looks that she seems to manage so effortlessly. Below, Rihanna was an early trend setter for the body con / bandage dress look.

As for fashion sense I love the way she adopted the metallics trend early on, with skyscraper silver heels and wide waist cinching belts. She is a care free female and her look reflects this. Not only that, she has a body to die for and this enables her to wear outfits much skimpier than many other celebs could get away with. She is not afraid to go for the boldest of colours but knows to keep the make up toned down when she does, as below.

Check out the 'Shut up and drive' video below and look out for some killer heels. I am not a fan of the big gold hoops but apart from that she epitomises the sexy look.
